To all of you who have not heard, Denise and I have moved to Mesa, AZ to be closer to family here and follow God’s leading in our lives. Consequently, we will no longer be updating this blog at riverwalkchurch.net. Our new blog(s) are located at:
www.devinwoolery.com and www.devinanddenisewoolery.com
Thanks for all of your prayers and support and don’t forget to subscribe to our new blog…it should be up and running soon!
Denise and I have been talking a lot lately about the move that we will be making to Arizona a week from Monday. And something that always seems to come up are the people that we will have to leave behind. It’s usually a hard subject so we don’t try to stay on it too long, but when we do, we get to remember great times with great friends here in the Tulsa area.
So, all that said, if you were to move out of state or out of country a week from tomorrow, who are 5-10 people that you would “have to” take with you? I know, it’s hard to narrow it down that much, but who has made, or is making, so much of an impact on your life that you couldn’t leave them behind?
Well, the day has barely begun and I’ve already seen enough bizarre stuff to keep me wondering how the rest of the day is going to turn out.
I dropped Denise off for work and decided that I would come hang out at Stonewood Coffee & Tea Co. since I don’t work for another 2 hours. As I come to turn at 61st and Aspen, I notice about 5 police cars, 2 ambulances and 2 firetrucks in the opposite lanes of traffic. Then I find there was a jeep overturned in the road….crazy!
Then I started to turn in to the shopping center where the coffee house is found and well, things just got a little strange. There were about 20 geese just standing in the road! It was pretty hysterical…at least in my mind.
Happy Goose Chasing!
Battling against my pack-rattish nature. It seems so often that I can find sentimental value in just about anything. I mean papers from elementary school that signal the beginning of my educational career but really serve little to no purpose now…they’ve been in a box since those bright years.
But there are some other items that aren’t quite as, well, useless.
Denise and I are trying to figure out what furniture and other things need to stay and what needs to go.
Here’s a small list of things that we are trying to get rid of that have absolutely nothing wrong with them (to our knowledge). We are hoping to get some $ for gas and stuff for the move from some of them. We are quite flexible, so if you’re interested, just ask!
***EDIT***
OK, there you have it. If you know any newly weds out there (I say that as if we still aren’t) that need any of this stuff have them email me or post a comment!
